Gluten-Free Buffalo Ranch Chicken Dip

It’s easy to make this dip for parties and can be made fairly quickly. Using cooked chicken to make this dish is ideal because it takes less time from start to finish. This recipe can be made using fresh chicken but it will increase the overall preparation time of the dish.

This chicken dip is gluten-free and is delicious served with tortilla chips.

How to Make Buffalo Ranch Chicken Dip

Make the chicken mixture- Mix the cooked and shredded chicken together with the buffalo hot sauce.

Add the chicken to a dish- Layer the chicken mixture on the bottom of a casserole dish and set it aside.

Create the cream cheese mixture- In a small saucepan, melt the cream cheese and mix it in the ranch dressing until well combined. To make this recipe gluten-free, make sure to use a gluten-free ranch dressing product.

Layer the cream cheese mixture- Once the cream cheese mixture is thoroughly combined, pour it over the chicken mixed with hot sauce.

Sprinkle on the cheese and bake- Lastly, sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the entire dish and place it in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes.

Serve hot with tortilla chips.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 cup cooked chicken breast
  • 1/2 cup Buffalo wing sauce
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 2 cups Colby-Monterey Jack Cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°
  2. Combine the shredded chicken and buffalo sauce.
  3. Using a saucepan, melt the cream cheese and add the 1/2 cup of ranch dressing.
  4. Spread the chicken mixture into the bottom of a small casserole dish.
  5. Pour the cream cheese mixture over top of the chicken.
  6. Sprinkle the cheese on top of the casserole dish filling.
  7. Place the casserole dish in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes. Until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

*You can use rotisserie chicken, canned chicken, or freshly cooked chicken for this recipe. To make this recipe quick, use already prepared chicken.
